Dylan Baldi and Jayson Gerycz, both active members of Cloud Nothings, have released a freeform jazz album called Blessed Repair as the Baldi/Gerycz Duo. The release is a grand and exciting experiment for the duo, with Baldi trading in his guitar for the saxophone and Jayson Gerycz (pronounced Garish) using new techniques on drums.

Discussing how this new project differs from their work as Cloud Nothings, Baldi explains, “Cloud Nothings is very much about fully written and composed songs, which take lots and lots of work. I can spend days working on one little part of a Cloud Nothings song. This record is very freeform, and we barely even talked about what we wanted to do. We just played.”
