Greys announce new album + share first single

February 29, 2016 1:24 pm

We’re very excited to announce that Greys’ second full-length record, Outer Heaven, will be out April 22nd, 2016. The band shared the first single, “No Star.” Stream it now via Noisey. Pre-order your copy on the Carpark shop or iTunes and receive an instant download of “No Star.”

“Delivering on the promises made on 2015’s Repulsion EP, the band tempers their trademark onslaught of discordance with new textures and subtle dynamics, building a more spacious and melody-driven environment atop their noise rock foundation. They fearlessly explore every extreme, simultaneously delivering their most intense and
accessible moments, often within the same song.”

Prince Rama teamed up with Pitchfork & GoPro to create a wacky fitness video for their track “Bahia.”
View the it here via PitchforkTV.

“On January 27, 2016 Brooklyn based band Prince Rama performed the track “Bahia” from their upcoming album Xtreme Now at Otom Gym in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Directed and edited by Jim Larson, the video showcases the band’s energetic live show while contortionist Amazing Amy and a group of Xtreme health nuts get ripped. Using GoPros on zip lines, gimbals, mic mounts and chest mounts Larson’s goal was to capture the performance from the perspective of someone getting in a good sweat while Prince Rama play live.”

TEEN’s “Love Yes” out now!

February 19, 2016 10:08 am

TEEN’s new album, Love Yes, explores the disharmony and empowerment that both sexuality and spirituality can create within the modern woman’s psyche. Universal ideas of loyalty, pleasure, purity, power, aging, and love are confronted with a knowable specificity. There is a quality of wholesomeness, but also an edge—a kind of wise anger and electricity.

Love Yes if officially out today! You can pick up your copy in the Carpark shop, iTunes, or in a record store near you. The album is also streaming via Spotify and Apple Music. Stop by select retail stores and receive a limited edition autographed lyrics poster, while supplies last.
