Speedy Ortiz’s “Foil Deer” Out Now + Shares Video For “The Graduates”

The latest album from Speedy Ortiz, Foil Deer, is out now! It’s available on limited colored LP, standard LP, CD, and digital formats.

Pick up a copy from the Carpark shopiTunes, Amazon, Bleep, Google Play, or your favorite retailer. Stream via Rdio and Spotify. The Carpark shop is currently sold out, but visit your local indie record store to see if they have the limited edition color vinyl version of the LP (gold vinyl with a sticker). All vinyl comes with a band-designed chapbook and digital download card in a gatefold jacket.

More good news! Speedy Ortiz has also shared the video for their second single off of Foil Deer, “The Graduates.” Check it out!

Carpark Sweet Sixteen Update

More Sweet Sixteen announcements! New to our shop is a bundle featuring Carpark-branded American Giant sweatpants and a special USB drive that contains every piece of music we’ve released from CRPK1/CAK01 to CAK99, plus all the CAKD digital releases in between. Available now here! The USB drives were designed by Chaz Bundick of Toro Y Moi and Les Sins. Images below.

The release date of our Sweet Sixteen Basketball Picture Disc 12″ has been pushed back to July 21st. In the mean time, listen to a song from the record: “Beyond the Arc” by Ear Pwr, which Consequence of Sound premiered today here. We’ve also put up more picture discs for sale in the shop. It’s a steal at only $16!

In less than a week, Foil Deer will be available in shops around the globe! In the meantime, you can stream the new album from Speedy Ortiz via NPR in the U.S. or via The Guardian in Europe. More exciting Internet news on the Speedy Ortiz front: The band will take part in a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” session on April 23rd at 3 p.m. EDT.
