Carpark Records Sweet 16 Celebration in Brooklyn, DC and at SXSW

We’re happy to announce the addition of a New York area show to our series of sweet 16 anniversary events. Please join us at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, NY on March 6th with Lexie Mountain Boys, Greg Davis, Greys, Chandos, Ear Pwr, Safety Scissors, Adventure, Jimmy Whipsers (of Light Pollution) and DJ sets by Montag and Young Magic. On March 7th at DC9 in Washington, D.C. with Lexie Mountain Boys, Greys, Adventure, Chandos, and Jimmy Whispers (of Light Pollution). And on March 19th at Swan Dive in Austin, TX, we’ll host our annual SXSW label showcase with Cloud Nothings, Skylar Spence (DJ set), Dent May, GRMLN, Chandos, Keath Mead, and Average Cock. We hope to see you there. The first 50 people through the doors at each event will receive a free sweet 16 anniversary t-shirt! T-shirts provided by our friends at American Giant.

Watch the brand new music video for Cloud Nothings “Now Hear In” via Pitchfork. The video was directed by Toro Y Moi guitarist Jordan Blackmon and stars Toro Y Moi bassist Patrick Jeffords. Here and Nowhere Else is out now.

The band wraps up the year with more non-stop touring including dates in Australia.

Cloud Nothings release Spotify Sessions

After logging two runs in the US and Europe already this year, Cloud Nothings are back to announce that they will close out their 2014 with one more tour in each territory, as well as a run in Australia. The announcement comes on the heels of the band releasing their recent sessions for Spotify (recorded exclusively for Spotify at Bonnaroo) and KEXP. In addition to these forthcoming tour dates, the band is announcing that they will be contributing to this year’s Cassette Store Day (September 27th), releasing Here And Nowhere Else on cassette for the first time.
